Hotel Chancletas is in a small, quiet fishing village named Aserradores. Located on a breezy hillside overlooking the pacific ocean.

How the "Flip Flops"

Watch the sunrise over volcano San Cristobal while enjoying a cup of Nicaraguan blend coffee at our restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Taste the fresh seafood, try local dishes or have the popular nightly special. We are fully staffed with local people from our community who are here to ensure you a comfortable vacation. Start your day with a walk on the beach, a surf or maybe you would like to try other activities like kayaking or horseback riding.

We can arrange tours to volcano Cosiguina, Chinandega, Leon or neighboring beaches. Get a massage or take a nap reading in a hammock.

Bus Info

Our taxi

Managua to Chinandega
You will need to go to Mercado Israel in Managua.
The regular bus leaves approximately every 30 mins.
1st Bus - 6 am
Last bus - 7 pm.
Minivans or (express buses) leave approximately every 15 mins.

Chinandega to Aserradores
Once in Chinandega you will need to go to the Mercadito "little market". Here the regular bus departs at 12:30 pm and takes you directly to the hotel gate.
**This is the only bus per day from Chinandega.

EL Viejo to Aserradores
You can catch the last bus of the day here in El Viejo. Here the regular bus departs at 3:00 pm and will take you directly to Hotel Chancletas gate. If you need to catch a taxi from Chinandega to El Viejo it should cost you around $2.
