Beach clean up

This was a fun day. We got together with about 15 kids from the local surf club. All the kids grabbed a bag and went off in their own direction. A few hours later the beach was the cleanest we have ever seen it.
Afterwards we all got together at the hotel and raffled off a couple boards that were donated by guests.

Surf Contest

Surfing in our community has really taken off. Over the last 2-3 years the kids have really gotten good.
So we decided to have a local surf contest. The turn out was awesome and it was the most people that we have ever seen on the beach. It felt like half of the town showed up and for many of the kids it was the first time their parents had seen them surf.
It was so much fun we've decided to make it an annual event.

School Project

This particular project was unique because around 10 guests from the hotel came with us to help.
Along side many friends from the town, we managed to clean up the school grounds and repair a seating area for the children.
